Tech stocks look for direction in early trading
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Technology stocks put in a mixed early trading performance Wednesday. Gains came from Dell Inc. , Oracle Corp. and Google Inc. , while decliners included Apple Inc. , Hewlett-Packard Co. and IBM Corp. . Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. shares rose 31 cents to $24.99 after the video game publisher on Tuesday raised its quarterly outlook due to strong advance orders of “Grand Theft Auto IV.” The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index rose 7 points to 2,262.
