The Royal Tenenbaums,co-written and directed by Wes Anderson, is an offbeat indie comedy with a wonderful ensemble cast that includes Gene Hackman, Anjelica Huston, Ben Stiller, Gwyneth Paltrow, Owen and Luke Wilson, Bill Murray, and Danny Glover. Once Upon a Time in America the Movie | Once Upon a Time in America DVD Review
I was mesmerized by the visual flow and haunting music of Once Upon a Time in America. I think the movie occasionally goes too far over the top, but it packs one whale of an emotional wallop.

R.I.P. HD DVD
I am convinced that this whole HD DVD vs. Blu-ray format war debacle was a Microsoft scheme to mess with Sony.
