Many of us don’t back up our computer because we think it’s too much trouble, suggests Hiawatha Bray (boston.com). But, thanks to Time Machine and Time Capsule, “data backup is easy for devotees” of the Mac, says Bray. “Without bothering the user, Time Machine preserves all the data on your computer, constantly updating any changes to your files.” And Time Capsule automates the process even further. Offering a “spacious place to store backed-up files,” it partners perfectly with Time Machine to “painlessly and wirelessly” back up one’s otherwise irreplaceable files.
