The Open Group announced that both Apple’s latest operating systems have been awarded a certificate of conformance to the UNIX 03 standard.

Apple today said that the latest version of its Mac OS X 10.5 operating system exceeded the launch sales of its predecessor “Tiger”. More than two million copies were delivered to customers over the weekend.
